Presentation and Briefing Skills for Auditors is designed to help auditors assess and improve their ability to give clear, well-structured, and convincing presentations and briefings. Auditors at all levels must use the power of clear communication and the power of persuasion to give effective formal and informal presentations and briefings to audit management, budget committees, auditees, and others. Effective presentations and briefings require a focused message that addresses the concerns of the audience, is well organized and skillfully delivered. This is a practical course where participants will prepare, present and critique several presentations and briefings with the opportunity for self-assessment, coaching and improvement. Class size is limited to 15 participants to ensure individualized attention. This course is part of the Certified Government Auditor (CGA) program, Level 2.
