To carry out the work of a federal HR practitioner, you must be able to find and use the applicable laws and regulations related to HR management as well as the operating guidance issued by regulatory agencies overseeing federal HR, such as the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), to transmit additional information on day-to-day human resources management matters.
